Stick up Cam will not detect motion

Hello all, I have had a Ring door bell for some time and it's works great so I know what a Ring product can do. I just bought a battery stick up cam for the driveway on Prime Day. The stick up cam will not record motion or send an alert when someone walks in the driveway or drives a car in or out. It is mounted about 10 ft high and is located at the end of the driveway pointing towards the street. The only alerts I have ever received are when I take it down and put something directly in front of it. It takes snapshots and will show live view just fine. Here are the steps I have taken so far with no improvements: Battery fully charged RSSI is between -55 and -60 Record motion and Motion Alerts switched on Updated App and have the motion zones defined No motion pause alert schedule set Changed motion frequency from Standard to Frequent but made no difference Attached a photo with the Ring circled so you can see where it's mounted.
