Stick up Cam (battery) gen 3 not powering on

I have a stick up cam 3rd gen, it is battery powered and has only been through 3 charge cycles. I have charged it fully last night and it will not power up the camera when inserted. The blue power indicator light comes on for a brief moment and then turns off. It is completely unresponsive, even when trying to press or hold the reset button. Does anybody have any ideas on how to sort this problem out?
