Spotlight Camera 30 Second light even when manually turning on

I'm trying to figure out why I cannot get my light to stay on for more than 30 seconds. I've read through a bunch of posts about it, but those all dealt with the motion settings. My issue is when I manually turn on the light I get a pop-up that it will be active for 30 seconds. I cannot find any settings within the app to keep it on longer. Is there a spot I can adjust this? or is the 30 second timer just the way it works.

Indeed 30 seconds is the limit and it can't be changed. I am sure it is due to the fact that it puts a heavy drain on the battery , although it would seem they could allow for other choices and let the user decide if they care about the extra drain. After all, many folks have the solar charger which will help restore it during the day. Put it in the Feature Request board and see if it gets some traction.
