Spotlight Cam Plus - 2 batteries - shows battery 1 missing even when batteries are swapped

Spotlight Cam Plus has 2 fully charged batteries installed, status shows Battery 1 level not installed, Battery 2 level 100%. Nothing changes if I swap and move battery 2 to battery 1's slot. Resetting and rebooting does not help.
