When you set up a new Ring Doorbell or Security Camera, you will receive a [Ring Protect Trial](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360061192351-Ring-Protect-Trial-information) for that device. This won't affect your existing Ring devices or their Ring Protect plans, and the Ring Protect Trial lasts 30 days from the time the new Doorbell or Camera is set up. I hope this helps clear things up. :)
