Ring stick up cam 3rd generation wifi roaming

I have several WAPs sharing an SSID, and several Ring stick up cams around the house. One cam is close to one WAP, and when it is first set up it gets a strong wifi signal. However, after a day or two it seems to roam to a more remote WAP but shows the same SSID name, so the wifi strength drops suddenly. Is this a cam fault? I don't want to rename SSIDs.

Hi @richpm. One thing you can try is to configure the WiFi channels that Ring uses. You can use this Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407014643732-How-to-Change-Router-Channels-). Also, try to connecting the devices to a dedicated 2.4GHz network and not one that has automatic switching between 2.4GHz and 5GHz. I hope this helps.
