Hi As of a few days the led lights on the floodlight camera are flashing. I tried to cut power to it and back on but no success Attached is an image

    Hi @QuestionMan ! Did you try a full reset of the device as well? Any water or recent storms? Also, are the lights still strobbing like this? Thanks!

      Hi @jennifer\_ring I tried all the steps you mentioned but did not help. No storms I think caused this as it is covered by a roof and has survived several cold Canadian winters and summers Are the lights fixable? Thanks

      That's too bad I thought Ring had better warranty / service We managed to achieve the same effect by installing a regular floodlight and attaching a Nest cam under it. Seems to record 24/7 too and the bulbs are replaceable Thanks anyhow

      So every time I click on take me to the solution it takes me to your post about replacing it with a Nest camera and floodlight. I guess Ring agrees since they have no solution. So that's what I'm going to do.

      Greetings, I am having issues with my floodlight camera. whenever motion is detected it flashes on and off like it's in strobe mode. I've disconnected in numerous times, by powering down the electrical switch because it's hardwired. I've been unable to keep on for longer than a few minutes since this summer (which leaves my home unprotected). I've also disconnected and re-connected it to the wi-fi and my firmware is up-to-date. Do you have any other suggestions? Mo B

      Indeed the correct answer is to not have to buy a new floodlight full price cause the bulbs burned out Go for a regular floodlight and get a nest outdoor cam. Comes out cheaper and the bulbs are replaceable

    The proper solution was to contact the staff as they said and explain your situation. They gave me a fair discount once I explained my situation (and the fact I have several products from them) Trying to fix it on your own will not only void warranty but youll lose the ability to turn lights on/off remotely etc. HI-YA

    This has been an issue with ring for 5 or 6 years now. Every 3 years or so you need to replace them. I just replaced my front floodlight cam after owning it for 3 years and a couple months. Now my side floodlight cam the lights are strobing. Both cams are fine it just cheap China crap components in the floodlights. With all the money they make off if these things you think they could do better in quality control and fix this issue after 6 years.
