Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro's light is almost always on at night?

Had my Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro installed for more than a month now. I noticed the light is almost always on at night. I would manually turn it off, but a few minutes later it's back on with no motion detected. Under Device Setting-Light Settings, I have Motrin-Activated Lights set to "on". I have the Motion Zones for Lights set at minimum, Motion Sensitivity set at minimum, no Light Schedules made, and no Light Groups set. Please advise... Paul

Hi @pjekoo. How high is your Floodlight Cam mounted? If possible, try uploading a screenshot of the view from your Floodlight Cam. This will help the Community identify anything that might be causing excess activations.

Hi, sorry for the late reply, the floodlight cam is mounted above the garage door, so about 7 foot up. Here is a capture. During the day, the light is off. But at night it is mostly on. Even after manually turning the light off, it comes back on after a few minutes with no motion noted. ![Ring floodlight wired pro light issue|690x460](upload://megKcEh2eQ3A7Hawy8IKRiiH2Km.jpeg)

Hi @pjekoo. Thanks for sharing that screenshot, thought it is hard to speculate on what might be causing the lights to be triggered at night since this screenshot is from during the day when this issue is not occurring. If you haven't done any troubleshooting steps yet, a good place to start is to reset the Camera by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After this reset is complete, set the Camera back up in the Ring App using the steps under Set Up a Device. Let me know if you notice any change in your Floodlight Cam's behavior.

Hi neighbors. Again, I don't want to speculate as every neighbor's home and environment will differ. There may be something triggering the lights at night, so I'd recommend reviewing your light settings on your Floodlight Cam. You can find more information on the settings available for your Floodlight Cam's lights in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004155866-Controlling-the-Floodlights-and-Light-Settings-on-Your-Floodlight-Cam). If you're not able to determine the cause of what is triggering the lights on your Floodlight Cam, I'd recommend following up with our support team at the time that you're experiencing the concern with the lights. Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
