Ring floodlight cam wired pro (question)

troubleshooting
I just installed a ring floodlight can wired pro on the outside of my new patio and it triggers the light at night when you are on inside the patio even though the camera is pointing into the backyard. Has anyone experienced this? or had a fix for this? Everything is up-to-date, and the camera is positioned as high as it could go into the backyard. It picks us up sort of midway towards the screen. A little weird. Also. It doesn’t pick you up on the camera. Just the lights turn on

Hi @mcm127. The lights on the Floodlight Cam have separate motion zones from the camera. This means your lights can come on without having your camera come on. You can learn more about this [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004155866-Controlling-the-Floodlights-and-Light-Settings-on-Your-Floodlight-Cam). I hope this helps.
