Ring Carr Cam disabling auto high beams?

Ever since installing my Car Cam my car's auto-high beams don't work. The sensor is up behind the rear view mirror. I suspect, with its wide field of view and infrared lights, my car's sensor is detecting this light and not turning on the high beams. I tried unplugging the cam and the auto high beams came back. Any way to fix this (maybe turn off interior infrared?) Other than returning the cam?
