Ring Car Cam and Apple Car Play

Installed Ring Car Cam. Works great. Except it interferes with Apple Car Play. Apple Car Play no longer connects wirelessly. Must use USB cable to connect to Car Play. Which can be very inconvenient. Car Cam is set up in a 2023 Ford F-250 Tremor. Any suggestions??

Hi @Tony60Jr. Make sure that CarPlay isn't restricted. On your mobile device, go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. If Content & Privacy Restrictions is on, tap Allowed Apps, and make sure that CarPlay is enabled. Additionally, ensure also USB restricted mode is off: 1. Go to Settings 2. Tap Face/Touch ID & Passcode 3. Type your password, if necessary, and tap Allow Access When Locked 4.
