Ring camera

I have 6 indoor cameras recording my cats. Most of the time the action I want to catch does not get caught because the camera does not switch on fast enough. Please give me all the setting adjustments I can make to get the camera to start recording the fastest. I am paying for the plan with 24 hour recording, smart search. I think it’s the $200 a year plan. Nothing much has improved from the lower cost plan. I’d be grateful for any help I can get. I’m missing a lot of great stuff from my cats. I am not talking about doorbells. The issue is with camera only.
