Ring cam won't match up to a 4" round electrical box

The installation instructions everywhere calls for a 4" round outdoor box. My base measures 5" across. What did everyone else do? Throw it up anyway and goop on the silicone? New install with no previous floodlight to work from

Hi @user17018. I suggest going to you local home improvement store and looking for an adapter. With the proper adapter, you can have a snug and secure fit. I hope this helps.
