Ring cam connecting to WiFi Hotspot
I’m trying to connect my Outdoor stickup cam to my cellular WiFi hotspot. I can get it to work with my indoor cam (wired power) but not with the outdoor stickup cam (battery power). Setup gets stuck at 95% and fails every time. I’ve tried numerous WiFi settings (2.4Ghz only, channels, etc). Is this a bad stickup battery cam?

It is outdoor and the only WiFi available. I have another Ring connected and it’s fine. For some reason the Stickup cams don’t connect to these cellular modems.

C@user_18b6cb Using a mobile device hotspot in place of a home wifi network is not recommended and may cause connectivity issues with Ring devices, as it is not as stable as a regular network. If possible, I'd recommend moving the Stick Up Cams to try and connect them to a home wifi network.

Hi @user_18b6cb. Are you trying to connect your Ring devices to your hotspot as a troubleshooting step? We typically advise against using a hotspot for Ring devices, since it is not a stable connection. Is this hotspot the only wifi network available where your cameras are installed?
