Pan Tilt - theft prevention of stick up cam

Just received my stick up cam and pan tilt bundle. Seems like a good set up for the Black Friday money. One thing that’s stumped me is: what stops a would-be thief from simply twisting the camera off the pan tilt base when it’s installed outside. The normal camera base has a lock screw. But no such screw when fitting the PT base. Am I missing something?
