Old and new stick up cams going offline
troubleshooting

Hello, I have a stick up camera that was frequently going offline or when going to live view, it says it can’t connect. It was located in my front yard attached to a gutter. I moved it to my patio and it didn’t go offline again. I decided to keep it there and buy another one for the front yard since stick up cams are on sale. I received it and set up last night. However, the new camera is also going offline randomly. There is a large gap between screenshot captures, from 8:56 to 9:52 this morning. As I’m typing this, it just went offline again. The new camera is plugged into an electrical outlet and I’m confident is working properly. The old camera often said there is a fair or poor WiFi signal. My router has a 1,500 square foot range and my townhouse is about 1,200 square feet. Currently the last reported signal strength is RSSI -68. I’m confident there’s nothing wrong with my network either but I’m starting to consider getting a new router with a better range. My doorbell camera is nearby and often has a “fair” WiFi signal but never goes offline randomly.

Hi @Danny8890. It does seem your Cameras signal strength is causing the issues. I recommend trying the steps mentioned on this Help Center page to help improve your Cameras signal strength.
