Ring Security Cameras
New camera won't connect to my wifi network
My new pan-tilt camera won't connect to my wifi network. It's a 2.4 network and has 2 other Ring cameras plus a doorbell already on the network. The app recognizes it but during setup no available networks are displayed. Adding the network manually doesn't work. It gets to 95% then stalls. The voice says it might be too far away from the router but it's right next to it.I have tried all the troubleshooting I can find. Rebooted everything (modem, router), several times. Reset the camera, several times. I've tried it with Bluetooth and without. Updated the app.I couldn't find any applicable threads on here when I searched.

Hi @Idaho_doug. I suggest trying to connect this device to a WiFi hotspot and letting the update go all the way through. Once that is complete, you can switch to your primary home network. Sometimes, the notwork will block the Ring devices as part of a security protocol. You can contact your ISP to fix this, or try the WiFi hotspot trick.
