My flood lights come on too late when someone enters my drive what to do?

My flood lights do not come on when someone enters my drive, how can I get the lights to come on as soon as some enters?

If you have the ability to add additional lighting, that will greatly improve response time to motion.  Also, if you can position the camera such that motion is ACROSS the sensor rather than coming right at it, that will dramatically improve response time too.
