Mount camera below eave; vertical field of view
I need to mount my floodlight camera on a new outlet box to be installed on my single-level home, just below the eave and rain gutter. I want to mount it as high as possible (around 8'), but I would prefer to not have the eave or gutter always showing. Is that a problem? Is the camera's vertical field of view the same as the horizontal field of view, 140 degrees? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Good question @lcannady! The vertical field of view for the Floodlight Cam is 78 degrees. To also help with avoiding obstructions in your view, the Floodlight Camera assembly is adjustable and, depending on environment, is most optimal in performance when angled slightly downwards. The motion sensor for lights is also at the bottom of the Camera so any long eaves or gutters should not impact view or operation. I hope this helps! :)
