I am having the same issue with my wireless stick up cam and video doorbell. The cameras pick up every minute motion on my porch, the sidewalk and the road but when a critical event happens neither device captures the video. Today I had an item on my porch for someone to pick up. Neither camera recorded the item leaving the porch. It was just gone. This has also occurred with multiple car break-ins, deliveries and events occurring in front of our home. This is becoming very frustrating. I am not sure if being linked is part of the problem. I have adjusted all settings and capture all over events in the same locations.

Hi @user45283. It can take some time to find the combination of motion settings that works best for each device. Adjusting the [Motion Zones](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/210243483-Utilizing-Motion-Zones-with-your-Ring-Devices) was a good start, alongside the motion sensitivity. I'd also recommend reviewing the [Motion Frequency](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003477106-Understanding-and-Optimizing-Motion-Detection-with-Motion-Frequency) setting on your battery powered devices.
