LED light on stick up cam

Hello,I use my indoor stick up cam as a toddler monitor only certain times a day. When motion detection is off, I still see the red LED light on for minutes at a time when motion is detected. None of the directions that came with the unit explain why this is happening. Has anyone had the same problem?

Hi @TimewaveZero. The red LED light is an indication that the infrared lights are active. This could be caused by darkness or what the camera perceives as a low-light condition. The infrared lights on your camera are not visible to naked-eye, but are essential for night vision use. I hope this information helps!
