Hi @BGL. If you are experiencing jerky video, it could be due to your network connection. We have a great [Community article](https://community.ring.com/t5/Ring-Device-Tips-and-How-To-s/Live-View-Not-Activating-and-Connecting-Troubleshooting-Tips/ba-p/821) on some tips and tricks to correcting issues with Live View. Additionally, try rebooting your internet router to see if that improves you video quality. If you've tried those steps to no avail, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. I Have checked the RSSI via the Health option and found it to be -67. On your website it says the following RSSI Reading Meaning -66 to -90 is critical and will likely cause a loss of functionality or be unable to maintain a usable connection the wifi altogether. -65 to -41 is sufficient. Possible video issues if constantly at -60. -40 or better is virtually no interference and a very strong signal. Are the above measurements applicable to the Ring Security Cam, as my reading (-67) is defined as "critical"? Would it be benifical to put the Ring Security Cam on its own 4G Router?

Hi @BGL. Thank you for checking back in. Your wifi signal is definitely the culprit of your jerky video. The best option would be to use our [Chime Pro](https://shop.ring.com/products/chime-pro-gen2) to boost your wifi signal going to your Camera. Getting your RSSI to improve will be the key to getting your video quality to improve. Let me know if this helps!

My Ring cam is located on the ground floor on the garage face monitoring the drieway. My Router is located in the office on the first floor about 3 - 4 metres from the Ring Cam seperated by a brick wall, balcony and cement floor. Where is the best location for the Chime Pro - on the ground floor closer to the Ring Cam or on the first floor near the Router? Regards

Hi @BGL. The best location for your Chime Pro will be somewhere halfway between your router and Camera. It is important to note, that when the wifi signal has to pass through dense material like brick and concrete, the signal is degraded.
