Installing Plate for Flood light Camera in flush elect box

Many videos show installation with a metal strap that is screwed into an electrical box. My challenge was the strap caused the installation plate to be raised above the siding which would cause water to enter and it wobbled. My solution was to cut down the length of the strap and position it under the tabs in the electrical box. This allowed the installation plate to sit flush with siding and allow the use of the center screw to tighten the plate against the siding.
