Garage door opening not detected

My indoor stickup cam does not reliably detect the opening or closing of my garage door. Wifi signal is strong. I’ve played with the smart alerts and the sensitivity. I’ve played with the detection zones. I’ve moved the camera so its seeing the double width up and over panel doors from different angles. I’ve added reflective strips to the door and its track mechanism. I’ve hung a High vis vest from the track mechanism. Nothing seems to make it reliably detect the doors. Any person coming in the doors or anywhere in the garage, no problem. The problem is worse at night, even though the garage door triggers its own light.what can I do?
