Floodlight rapidly flashing

I am trying to troubleshoot a problem with my Ring floodlight camera. I've had it for a little over a year and a half and it has worked well until recently. Now whenever the motion lights are activiated, one of the the floodlights begins to flash rapidly. If I look closely, the other one appears to very dimly flash. I read that this is likely caused by a power issue. The light is wired through a switch, to I first turned the switch on and off. Nothing changed. I checked all the wiring, and all the connections look fine. I also tried wiring it to a different electrical box, and got the same issue, so it appears to be an issue with the light itself. Any suggestions on what is causing this...and how I can fix it? Thanks!

Hi, I’m having the exact same issue, even down to the one dim light. The flashing is so strong and intense when I went to check it it caused me to have a seizure. Did you manage to get this resolved? I can’t use the phone due to a disability and there is no option to email. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear about this, @KungFuSu! Our Floodlight, Spotlight, and Smart Lighting devices are not designed, nor do they feature any option for flashing lights. This flashing light certainly sounds like a possible device installation or power concern. As long as your Floodlight Camera is online and connecting with an efficient wifi signal, the lights should be able to be controlled via the Ring app. If for some reason the manual lights toggle in the Ring app does not work, please attempt a live view from the app to see if the video connects. This will confirm whether the device is online, or offline. Should this lighting concern persist, we recommend flipping the breaker switch, or a light switch, to briefly remove power from the Floodlight Camera. Once power is restored, these lights should not flash. Please ensure there is not a dimmer or any other type of specialty switch wired to control the Floodlight Camera, as this could interfere with powering the lights. If this concern is still persisting, it may require a more in-depth look from our support team. As the Floodlight Camera uses high voltage for it’s operation, we recommend contacting a licensed electrician for troubleshooting any power variables. The electrician can even help further with contacting support if necessary. Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. same problem here. Light is flashing quickly. The flood light is fix on my home since about two years now without any issue. When I click to turn off the light manually, the light turn on by itself. The only way is to turn off the motion detection, is that mean the motion detection is broken?
