Floodlight Cam Wired Pro doesn't hold WiFi
I have a Floodlight Cam Wired Pro that is less than a year old. It is hard wired and on its own circuit. In the last month, it's not been holding the wifi from my chime pro network. I tried switching to my regular home (xfinity) network and it does the same thing. At various times of the day it drops the network and requires a power cycle to reconnect. I also did a "forget this device" and removed it and did a full reinstall. Nothing worked. Any advice?

Any chance you have multiple access points or a wifi extender? My Ring Pro 2 doorbell was doing the same thing where it would often hop to a barely reachable 5GHz signal for the same SSID when a strong 2.4 GHz signal was available. I could not get it to stop doing this until I defined a 2.4 GHz-only SSID out of only one access point and joined the doorbell to that instead. Been stable since then. I just purchased a Floodlight Cam Wired Pro and suspect I'm going to end up joining it to the same SSID for the same reason. It seems the radios they use have been built to prefer 5GHz even if the signal is weaker, which in my case was because the 5GHz SSID was only reachable from a further away access point.

That's a great suggestion, @LVinstaller. While a 5GHz connection is faster, it does not have as far of an effective range as a 2.4GHz signal. I have also seen other neighbors utilize a similar setup to make sure their Ring devices are on a dedicated 2.4GHz network so the connection is both strong and stable.

I'd like to add that when I reboot the camera the RSSI starts out at 60 and then slowly drops to 79 and then disconnects.
