Ring Security Cameras
Floodlight buzzing, multiple resets and breaker flips
Hi, about a week ago my floodlight camera began buzzing. I’ve pressed the top reset button and gone through the steps, however an hour later the buzzing starts again. The only way to stop it is to reset the camera and just not set it up again. If I leave the blue light flashing, I can get a few hours without the buzzing but obviously the camera is un-usable in this state. I can’t leave the breaker off because that area is also tied to my living room and front porch. Flipping it has had no effect. Once it powers back up, it goes back to the same. I haven’t had the time to really investigate due to illness. No known cause, my doorbell and chime inside of the house are fine. I purchased this on 5/11/2021 and of course now it randomly breaks. Are there any known fixes?

Hi @SdotVA. If you feel comfortable doing so, try checking the wiring for your Floodlight Cam to ensure there are no fraying or loose wires that could be causing this buzzing sound. You can reference the installation instructions [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001262186) as well. Please consult a qualified electrician if you don't feel comfortable working with the wiring.
