What is the distance for an outdoor secutiy camera? I know the field of vision degree-wise, but how far out does it go? We currently have an indoor/outdoor camera up and it does not alert us of motion at a storage building close by. We are wondering if an outdoor security cam is different and goes a little farther out.

Hi @user_e942fd. The motion detection distance is roughly 25 ft. There are a few variables that contribute to this, so your "mileage may vary".
