Disable low power mode

I have a ring spotlight cam plus hooked up to a solar panel and I noticed that motion detection area is limited to just a portion of the total area camera can see and cannot be extended in battery mode. Someone suggested switching the camera to wired mode which allowed me to extend the motion area to full view, but as soon as solar panel stopped receiving power after sunset - the camera put itself in low power mode and disabled full area motion detection along with several other features critical to security. Battery lasts more that enough to sustain the camera while its dark and I can always add another battery since solar can easily recharge 2 batteries to XXXX% during the day. Is there really no way to prevent this camera from disabling itself? The way I have it mounted - it becomes completely useless unless it can detect motion in the entire area it can see. I don't want to have to spend another $75 on sensor/bridge since I'm not sure that'll work. And I really don't want to run a cable to this camera since I specifically bought the solar version and there's plenty of energy for it to run 24/7 so this useless low power mode is entirely artificial and unnecessary. Seems like really malicious design to make low power mode non-optional and purposefully and severely limit camera functionality.
