Connecting floodlight to network
I've had Ring hard-wired floodlight cams for a long time. One of them died recently and I bought a replacement. Installed yesterday. Light on cam flashed. Setup appeared to be flawless with a 'success' response. But, on opening the Ring app, I get something similar to 'not connected to a network. NOTE: floodlight is 30' off the ground.Again, borrow my neighbor's extension ladder, climb up, push the button, setup, get 'success,' but an hour later the device shows 'not connected to network.' I'm not real excited about borrowing the ladder again.Any way to connect the device WITHOUT climbing the ladder?Any ideas why I get 'success,' when setup was not successful?Every once in a while, I get an alert the camera in question detects motion. The app shows 'no network,' and the app shows no events. What am I missing?
