Camera Pink After a year

Went on the forums and saw THOUSANDS of people with cameras going pink right after warranty. Customer service repeatedly says reset the cameras which doesnt work because its clearly a circuitry issue. (corrosion maybe?) Consensus among the dozens who did fix it, is the only way to do so is to smash it. This gets you half a pink screen, to full pink, to maybe no pink. Is ring going to address this? Its clearly not an isolated issue. Generally speaking you don't want to smash electronics to get them to work. But this seems like the only fix for the extremely common defect.
