Hi @Bill-Heath. The battery's life is dependent on usage, environment, and other factors. For example, the rechargeable battery will drain faster than others depending on how often the Stick Up Cam is activated by motion detection or how often you activate Live Views. Cold temperatures can also cause the battery to start draining quicker. We do have accessories available on [Ring.com](http://ring.com/) for the Stick Up Cam that extend battery life, like the [Solar Panel](https://ring.com/products/solar-panel). I hope this helps.
