Battery dead

Is my battery dead ?I left my stick up cam with only 15% battery left, forgot to charge it. Came Home after 3 days and battery of course st 0%. But now the battery will not charge. I Can get the indicator lights to show and it wont charge. Did i really kill the battery by letting it run completely out ?
