Hey @Fiona1. Depending on how you have your motion detection set up can depend on how the battery lasts more than anything. You can learn more about this [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/208190773-The-Battery-In-My-Ring-Device-Seems-to-Drain-Too-Fast). Generally speaking, I've had my battery last me about 2 months with about 10-15 events a day. Please note events include Live View, Motion, and Dings (for Doorbells). In addition, having features like Snapshot Capture and other motion enhancement features can drain the battery faster as well. Hope this helps! :)
