Ring Security Cameras
Audio problems on spotlight cam
My Ring Spotlight cam has muffled audio. However, my Ring Floodlight cam works perfectly. Did Ring have a recall on the Spotlight cam because of this problem? Does anyone have this same problem. Signal strength is not an issue.

I tried it all. I can assume the camera audio feature is at the end of life. I believe the winter environment by me took a toll on the speaker. If you know anyone who has the camera and lives where they experience colder temperatures and snow I would let them understand the life of the microphone is short lived. It is concerning because it is out of warranty. Does anyone know if another similar camera can sustain the weather?

If you can hear audio on the Camera but not on the phone, try the following steps: - Try using a different phone or tablet to see if that makes a difference. - [Reboot your Camera using the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-Rebooting-your-Ring-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-). - Factory reset your Camera by pressing and holding the setup button on it for 20–25 seconds, and then [reconnect it to your wifi](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-How-to-Reconnect-Your-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-to-Wifi-or-Change-Your-Wifi-Network). Hi @John051. There are no current recalls for audio issues with the Spotlight Cam. Sometimes, audio issues are related to your network and how your devices connect to it. Your network router uses ports and protocols to manage connected devices. Adjusting these settings can help!
