Any way to set static IP without resetting the entire device?

Says it all..Why does it need a complete reset (wipe of all previous set up) to set a static IP?This is absurd...Is there any camera network settings that can be edited to allow the setting up of a static IP without going thru the pain of a complete reboot that wipes all previous setup?thanks

Follow this:Access the Control Panel. In the Windows search bar, type in “ncpa.cpl” and then press enter. ...Select the Network Adapter. ...Select Properties. ...Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) ...Manually enter IP address and subnet mask. ...Save Settings. ...Revert Back to DHCP. ...Glossary.
