Another Battery Door Open Issue -- But Only With 2 Batteries in the Camera?
I've had a Ring Spotlight Cam (battery) for about a year now. After about 6 months, I decided to get a second battery for it. Once I installed the second battery, I immediately started getting the infamous Battery Door Open error message. I've troubleshooted it and tried numerous solution suggestions to no avail. Finally, the batteries needed to be recharged, so I took one of the batteries out and charged it. I then put the charged battery in and took the battery needing to be recharged out for charging. Charged the second battery, and then put it back in the camera. Boom! Immediately get the Battery Door Open error message again. I hadn't noticed, but during the whole time I was recharging the batteries one at a time (so there was only one battery in the camera), I got no Battery Door Open error message. When I put both batteries in the camera I immediately get the Battery Door Open error message. So, two batteries in the camera seems to be the problem. What's the solution? And no, the solution isn't to make sure there isn't any debris in the door seal, etc.
