  Good question, @Unaas! With the https://community.ring.com/t/alarm-feature-update-linked-devices-camera-siren/25922 your Camera siren can be linked to sound when the Alarm is triggered. Motion does not set off a Camera siren, but you can answer a motion event and trigger the siren from the [Quick Controls Feature](https://community.ring.com/t/feature-update-quick-controls/20025).   But i can by a extra motion detector and mount it under the camera? Feels unnecessary, but I guess it will work?

  That sounds like a great idea! Do keep in mind that the [Alarm Motion Detector](https://ring.com/products/alarm-motion-detector-v2) is intended for indoor use only. The Alarm Motion Detector and your Camera will also have differing fields of view, installation requirements, and settings. Considering these factors will help you with mounting each.   So, you cannot trigger the siren in your Ring base alarm system by motion detected by your e.g. Ring indoor cam? Best, Jesper

  No I don’t believe you can do this. This is also a feature I require. At the moment, when my alarm is armed and a burglar enters the garden, how do I know he is there if the alarm doesn’t go off and tell me?

  Hi neighbors. I wanted to share that we do have the Motion Warning feature. This feature is a digital recording that notifies visitors that they have triggered motion detection and are being recorded.   Hi @Kevin_Frenchy. There is no feature available that will let a camera’s motion detection trigger the Ring Alarm. As we value our neighbors’ feedback, we’ve created a Feature Request board.
