Subscription upgrade

Hi, I have purchased a ring cam device and paid for the annual subscription basic plan. I now have a spotlight cam and want to upgrade my subscription however, I have already paid annually for the basic so my question is do I have to pay the £80 for the protect plus or can I pay the difference?
