Questions about new plans / SOS
I have a question about the new plans. Smart Video Search is not allowed in my state, and the 24/7 Backup Internet for Alarm Pro has been useless for me because I have a horrible cellular connection and there is no way to change cellular providers. Ring Edge for Alarm Pro has also become useless for me, because the 512GB max is just not enough. Plus, it doesn't make sense how it works (we should have the option to record locally and in the cloud, and to automatically replace the oldest video locally.) I don't care about 24/7 recording. So I am really down to SOS emergency response that is available in the Premium plan and not the Standard plan. What I am confused about is, will the emergency response buttons still work if I have the Standard plan AND subscribe to Professional monitoring?

Hi @r6kmb. If you have the Alarm Professional Monitoring Add-on, it will be $9.99/month. The Ring Home Standard Plan is also $9.99/month. The price of the Ring Home Premium Plan is $19.99/month. So, even if you aren't using all the features of the Ring Premium Plan, it costs about the same as have the add-on. Essentially, both options allow you to use the SOS Emergency Response and they are both the same price per month, but the Premium Plan has more features.
