Ring Home Plan
Protect Plan Subscription Transfer
My old Ring Doorbell quit working so they sent me a new one. I currently have a Protect Plan, but because the new Doorbell came with a "Trial Protect Plan" there is no way to seamlessly transfer my current plan to my new Doorbell. The only option is to cancel my current plan, get a prorated reimbursement (in 5-7 business days) and buy the new plan again today. That's ridiculous and honestly just creates more work for everyone, not to mention me being out the money for several days, and what if I didn't have the money to purchase a whole new year today? It should not be made to difficult to just transfer one plan to a new device. Easy Peasy. *edited to add* there was one other option, to wait out the Trial Period and receive a fee. Not better.
