“Modes” Gone!? So Lame. Any good alternatives to Ring?

I just found out that the “modes” feature is longer available with my paid plan and I would now have to upgrade to a higher tier get that function back.  That’s super lame for Ring to nickel and dime you over a feature that should be with any plan.
