Ring Home Plan
Cannot sign up for ring Protect Plan
When I go to subscribe to ring protect plan I get the following. See photo. I thought maybe it was because I was on a shared account, but I went and removed the shared camera. It is very frustrating that this is so difficult. Any advice?

Everything you mentioned I was already aware of. This account was a shared account at one point. The device was completely removed and no plans or devices are linked to this account. It still will not let me purchase a plan. You also mention needing a device on your account to do this? This is odd as your site also says I need to have a plan to get the 10% discount on the products I order..... I am very busy and phone is an option but not a good one. I find it odd that you all do not offer chat as most organizations do. Please provide steps to resolve this issue.

LDid you miss the part about there not being any devices on this account? You keep mentioning owner (me) of my account (no devices attached to account) and locations. Can you provide information for the "location" you are referencing? See Attachments.

LIt sounds like I need to purchase a ring device at full price. Then purchase a ring protect plan, then purchase the remaining ring devices I want at a 10% discount. This is absurd though. This means I need to wait for the first ring device (which is on backorder by the way) to be delivered before even being able to order the rest of the devices I want. Then I will have to wait for those to be delivered. Talk about a gimmick.. Correct me if I am wrong?

LAnswer was fine, policy is ridiculous for the reasons I already mentioned. I will research alternatives first prior to purchasing anything from ring. All over 10% you all would rather me wait for one device and order the rest, or not get 10%. In the long run you will lose so much more. May want to take a long hard look at that ridiculous policy.

I have a ring device, it is on my account and I cannot subscribe to the plan. Its really freaking dumb.

UI purchased the basic plan for $4.99 a month. They took the first payment from my card. When my trial subscription ended, WHOOPS I was informed that I had lost some features because I didn't have a plan. I couldn't find any way to correct the situation, so I figured I would cancel then make a new subscription. NOPE,I was given only one option which was to RENEW the non working plan. I don't know, I guess I can't make it work.

I checked every single tab on the phone and desktop web login. All devices are removed, nothing on the account. Still get that page when trying to sign up. Very frustrating. I am trying to purchase 4 devices but want the 10% discount from the plus plan. No chat available from ring support...? Seriously... Any help?
