Ring Doorbell and Storm Door

Hello, I purchased a Ring Doorbell. It’s not the one that goes over the peephole. It’s mounted to the door with a door mount. However, I have a storm door that is glass, no mesh. I just got the Ring. Will it pick up motion through the glass storm door? I want to keep the storm door but am wooly Ring won’t pick up motion through the storm door and also won’t pick up motion at night. Does anyone have a Ring mounted on door and have a storm door in front of it. Does it work? If not, does anyone know of a storm door that will work with a Ring that is minted to a door? Basically, the Ring is between the storm door and front door. Would appreciate any help. Thank you
