Establish link to new phone

I changed phones because my previous phone is completely destroyed so have no access to it. Same number. Downloaded ring app but can't link new device despite correct log in details and multiple veri codes. Can't add device via QR as says it is already established despite the app saying I am the owner. How can I set up properly on new phone? Nothing on the app deals with this, very frustrating
