Selecting Away Mode but device is offline

Selecting the Away Mode (motion detection enabled) although the device status is offline is not the usual way of working but it might happen. Doing it will set the Away Mode properly, supplemented by a short notification of the status of the device being offline. Afterwards the dashboard screen showing up is indicating the offline status in red font, along with the last detected motion event, **recorded** some time **back.** Overlooking the current device status can lead to the wrong assumption that the device is ready to report motion events. This story happened to me when leaving my home over-hasty. Is it correctly understood that changing the mode if the device is not online should not be possible?
