Ring is experiencing a temporary system wide login and app errors. They are currently looking into the issue. Nov 25, 14:25 UTC Ring is aware of this issue and is working on it. For updates, you can go to the [https://status.ring.com/ ](https://status.ring.com/ ) website for the latest progress on this issue. Hopefully this rare occurrence will be fixed very soon. ;)

      Hello, I am trying to add a Camera from Ring to my Key by Amazon account and when I try to link my Ring account it says Error something went wrong please try again. I am not sure if this related to this or if it is a different issue

      I've been having problems for about 12 hours now. I can change the mode on the app from disarmed to armed. RSSI reading very low on everything, reading 0 on all chimes. I just called tech again and they're working on it. He sees all of my devices on his end and they all check out fine. He also said they're working with Amazon technicians too. Something big happened.

      Any word on a time for a resolution. I literally got my first ring product yesterday and have been unable to complete the setup. Did I make a mistake in buying Ring?

      Yes. It seems they're down and the app doesn't work. I can't view any of my 4 cameras but I'm still getting notifications. See [status.ring.com](https://status.ring.com/) - it's been down for hours. It's also difficult to even log into this forum without a timeout or 500 error but it is possible. I would guess it's all related to Amazon Webservices falling over in the US (their authentication and streaming data services are affected) [status.aws.amazon.com](https://status.aws.amazon.com/) Does anybody know of an official announcement/apology?

      I don’t know of any “apology”. It’s 9:45 pm and the system still isn’t working. App won’t let me switch modes, dashboard not showing images, etc etc.

    Evening all, I’ve just reinstalled the app but I can’t access my account cause the two-step auth code is not recognised. I’ve tried multiple times with no success. Thanks for your help!

      Authentication seems doesn't work at all, from APP or from Site, not possible to login to account. Help Desk is not reachable either. Phone support not available. Looks like the Ring systems are down and no ETA when it will be back. The situation is pretty bad at this moment and customers are left hanging dry with no support whatsoever.

      I am having the same issue. I initally was getting "could not get locations". So I signed out of the app, now I cannot get back in.

    Had this 2 days ready to throw it in the bin. Worked for 2/3days but noticed it wasn't working tonight, tried to open app, wouldn't open, can't find location etc, tried reinstalling app, went to log in, didnt like password, sent me verification post, did that 7 times and each time it said 'something went wrong' really?!! Rang 01727263045 got cut off after 1 ring on 8 occasions then got put in a queue eventuallly, still sitting in it as I write. 'Ring'...get your act together...anyone else having these issues? BTW its b\*gger all to do with the wifi.

      Update on this, after 20 plus minutes I just got through to an agent, apprently there has been an app 'glitch' and they are working to fix it, apologies etc etc...how about emailing people and let them know?? The mind boggles. I can see this going back to Argos...their reviews were great but I should have read trust pilot first...more fool me.

      Hi yes, apologies if my rant is a tad angry lol the agent was apolgetic, not his fault but as per my reply to my own post there is an app glitch current, they said it would take a couple of hours to fix but we'll see. It is ntohing wrong with your phone/wifi etc. I'll check it in the morning, got better things to do than stand on my doorstep in the dark waving my arms around lol x

      So we buy Ring to protect our home, personal property and lives. Yet here we are and my wife's Ring app is still not working. Mind you that we had a man at our front door in the middle of the night last month with a gun. The app hasn't worked for days and very little communication from Ring. According to the website it is working now. NO, it's not!!! When you call support, you cannot even understand the person on the other end. No email support or chat support either. So I have a sh\*\*\*y product that doesn't work and no way to reach Ring for solution. Extremely POOR service!!! I will tell my neighbors NOT to buy Ring as I will start looking for a better product that actually works!
