Renaming cameras
The ring app notifications not working properly. Found the cause: Renamed cameras and replaced other cameras but the notifications app side has not followed the changes and have left the old names, there is no way to correct this so some of my cameras not giving me notifications while some others dont listen to the boundary settings, all totally messed up. Support has proven to be absolutely useless

YEP! JUST PART WITH RIMG. THAT SEEMS TO BE THE RIGHT ANSWER. YOUR SOFTWARE SIMPLY NO LONGER WORKS YOUR PROGRAMMER DROPPED OUT AND YOUR NEW TEAM DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE. RIMG USED TO BE INNOVATIVE AND GOOD SOME YEARS BACK NOW JUST EXPENSIVE TRASH. And when I try to post reply you TRYINH PREVENTING TO DO SO.

Replying Following on a Samsung smart phone, so Android To recreate the bug, that is when one change the name of the ring camera following which the ring no longer rings. Change the name of your camera using the general settings Close ring Open the device settings Go to notification settings Select app alert tones in the audible alerts Select motion alerts or ring alerts Look at top of the screen the name of your ring camera might not have change so your notifications might not work. So there is a bug in the software where the name of the ring camera was not modified when one changed the name or ring crashed. Sometimes ring app crashes without warnings You will find the apps that have crashed, though ring has the means in wiping them off, in the device care of your phone, right top menu.
