[Question] Smart Alert and Motion Zone

Fairly simple question and I couldn’t find a answer In the help knowledge base.Do Smart Alerts when enabled override the motion zones? OrWhen Smart Alerts are enabled they only work inside of defined Motion zones? I ask because even making the Motion zones smaller, I still get notifications of people that are clearly outside of my Motion zones. Thanks
