Password Special Characters

I'd like to reach the Ring development team somehow. I was recently requested to change my password due to a security issue from another site. Anyhow, in the password creation, I specifically got a message from the Ring site stating "Password must contain one symbol such as (!@#$%^&*-?")." My password did include a hyphen, but it still did not pass the special symbol criteria. Once I changed the hyphen to a period, the password was accepted. Can the development team please look into this and let me know when the issue is corrected? I would like to change my password to use the special character that is specifically allowed via the statement, but your programming does not.
